Section 1 
Swim 3 kilometres

 

The swim will start 3 klm upstream from the boat ramp at the Nitmiluk Katherine Gorge. Swimmers will be taken by boat up to the starting point a half an hour before the start time.

Swimmers will make their way downstream to the boat ramp where they commence the run.

Starting in the cool morning air up the 1st Gorge

 
Motor boats and canoes will be on the course to assist and guide swimmers
