Section 4 
Road Run 8klm

The run starts at the area in front of the hospital. It joins the bike track behind the cemetery then follows it all the way to the old Railway bridge and continues on the new track on the north bank of the river to the Low Level Bridge and the beginning of the kayak leg.

You will run past the Katherine Thermal Springs during the road run.

Take note as you may wish to spend the next day relaxing in the scenic warm spring along the Katherine River .

For safety reasons competitors who do not reach Low Level by 3pm will not be allowed to continue.

Section 5

Canoe 17klms
 

The river meanders through billabongs and shallow gravel races with  ducks, wallabies & maybe a small freshie to keep you company.


The canoe start at the Low Level Nature reserve Katherine

 


 

After pulling your canoe up the bank there is an approximately 400m run up a rough track to the bitumen road for the start of the cycle leg.

Section 6 Final Leg
Cycle 38klm

From Galloping Jack’s it is 2.5klm to Florina Road. Turn left and cycle away from town to the turnaround point. From there, cycle back towards town and to the low level.

Finishing back at the Low Level Bridge.
